  205.    Evangelists so quote the passage, and apply it to the
  206.    crucifixion of Christ, there seems scarcely the shadow of a
  207.    doubt that this is the genuine reading; especially when it is
  208.    considered, that the other contains no sense at all.  The
  209.    whole difference lies between [vâv] {wav} and [yôwd,] {yood,}
  210.    which might easily be mistaken for each other.
